Zaggora HOTPANTS: The Results & Giveaway

If you recall last month, I began an "Inches Loss Challenge" when I received my pair of Zaggora Weight loss HOTPANTS.  And I am here today to reveal the results of the challenge. DUN DUN DUNNNNN (Drum rolls and all that jazz!)

OK, OK, before I announce the results let me first begin by telling you a little about my experience wearing the pants.  At first, I did NOT like wearing them.  I found them to be way hot (DUH!), a little itchy and they made TOO much noise when I walked.  You know the kind of noise that accentuated my thighs rubbing together.  But after the first week wearing them, they started to grow on me.  The itchiness went away (or it just did not bother me as much) and I got use to being sweaty and hot after my work outs. TMI ALERT:  I was so sweaty that even my underwear was soaked after taking off the HOTPANTS.  And believe it or not, I  got use to the annoying noise it made when I walked.  Things I did like about them?  I LOVE the fact that they were so tight and held my jiggle in place.   This feature is especially  helpful during my work outs, when the jiggling tends to increase with hopping around.

So, let us get to the results:

My Waist/Stomach

My Thigh

My waist stayed about the same size but I lost a little over an inch in my stomach and almost an inch in my thighs. (this is also apparent in my clothing)  I was super excited about the loss of inches in my thighs because it is SO hard for me to lose in that area.  These measurements were taken after two weeks of wearing the pants (only during workouts) and then retaken two weeks after having lost the inches to verify the results were not just from water weight loss.

So, from my experience I think they worked pretty well.  Would I buy them again?  I probably would not pay full price for them because I am kind of cheap like that but I definitely would buy them again with a discount or Groupon.  Am I going to continue to wear them?  Definitely!  Actually, I have grown so accustomed to them I felt like something was missing from my work outs when I did not wear them for the second part of the month.

Remember I promised a giveaway?  Well, here it is!  Zaggora was nice enough to give me a coupon code for a free pair of pants to give to one of my readers!  So, now one of you can take the challenge!  And even if you do not win, I was also given a coupon code for a 10% discount on a pair of HOTPANTS.

(Disclosure: I was not given an money or free items to review these pants.  I was only given the coupon code for a free pair to giveaway.  This opinions are totally my own.)

  8. Black or Nude would be my preference. I missed the groupon deal and was so disappointed. I am hopeful I will see it again based on your comment about them being run on Groupon often, and I won't wait to order. Awesome job on the inches.

    2. I know that they are offering a groupon deal here in the Tucson area. I was thinking about getting them, and after reading your post, I think I will. Just don't know if I want the capris or the shorts.

    3. I chose the capris because I wanted to 1) cover up my calves because I self conscience of their thickness, aka cankles and 2) lose some inches in my calves as well. I wish now that I would have also taken some calf measurements. Hope you enjoy you hotpants as much as I do! :)

  9. Definitely black... I don't need to see my butt highlighted in hot pink (shudder!! Although those would be my favs ;) I just found your blog, and must say I find it extremely motivational. Just had a dr. Appt today, in which I found I have gained 16 lbs in the last year. I had back surgery on October 29th, 2011, for a herniated disc in my spine. That led to 8 wks of bed rest & a lot of depression/eating. It changed my family's life drastically because we had a 2 yr old son ( just turned 3 on Monday!) that I was the primary caregiver for. Since neither my hubby or I have family near, we had to get Isaac into preschool after he had taken his allotted FMLA leave from work 2 take care of the both of us. I was already struggling to lose 30 lbs that I still had packed on from preggo weight gain before this happened & now it's dire for me to lose about 45 lbs for the benefit of my back (also have degenerative disc disease & am only going to be turning 34 on Sunday!) I think I'm going to be a regular here pretty fast, thank you for sharing your struggles & triumphs :)

  10. I am excited for the chance to win... I prefer the black capris. I saw these a bit ago on groupon and wanted to buy them but unfortunately waited too long and the deal ended, I have a lot of weight in my tummy area and Have struggled with weight my entire life. After giving birth to my son it seems to be near impossible to lose the weight. I am curious if there is more weight to lose there would be greater results? I am glad I found your blog!

  12. I like the black. Wow they are pricey. I agree about buying them with a groupon. I am frugal that way, too. Thanks for the giveaway.

  16. Hi there, well I'm just in time to enter your comp, phew, those hot pants are expensive aren't they and I'd sure rather win a pair! I'm definately in need of help with getting rid of some of my fat and wobbles and maybe these will help! Good luck with the rest of your weight loss, somestimes it's hard to stay on track and if your will power is anything like mine, well, that's the reason I've still got all the blubber, but hopefully not for much longer!!! 18. I was just browsing the internet to find out what the deal was with the hot pants and I must say that they sound absolutely awful. I guess the site does say that they are for women who carry out "light training in the gym", though, so maybe they really wouldn't work for me. Extra heat while running is the last thing that I need!

    1. Ha! Well I admit, I am SO NOT a runner! These pants definitely make you sweat! I literally had sweat dripping down my legs and soaking my socks. I am usually not a "sweater" either so it took some getting use to.
