Body by Vi: 1 week update

Don't most of us want instant results?  I usually start a "healthier eating and workout plan" and then begin weighing myself that afternoon to see if it's working yet!  If only it was that easy.  Well, guess what?

 After one week of using the Body by Vi shake powder, I am proud to say that I lost 5 pounds!  Only 5 more to go and I will be back to pre-summer weight.  I have one more week on the Body by Vi challenge but that does not mean I am going to stop there.  This has been a great jump start back into healthy eating after the Summer of Splurge (yes I nicknamed it) but the healthy living WILL continue.  I can not beat myself up over this weight gain, I have in the past and that had only led to depression and MORE weight gain.  The important point is, the gaining has STOPPED and I am back on track having already lost 5 pounds! 

Now let me tell you a little about my Body by Vi experience with the shake powder.  After the first day, I was not looking forward to the next 2 weeks but I made a major mistake.  You see the beauty of this Vi-Shape Shake mix is that it can be used in a shake, added to oatmeal or MANY other various of uses.  The first day, I had just made a boring plain ole shake with ice cubes and a little milk and while it was still good... it was, just, boring.  I then began to get creative, adding almond milk and scoops of peanut butter to my shake, adding the shake mix with oatmeal and some cinnamon & raisins and dabbling with some other great recipes this shake mix has to offer!  No more "boring" shakes for me and I feel like I am eating like a queen!
