Skinny Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

I am a chocolate-a-holic.  Really, if there was one food that I could eat ALL the time and not gain any weight from, it would be chocolate.  So, every healthier sweet treat I make, I try to incorporate chocolate in it.  I recently ran across this recipe on Pinterest and I had to try it!  I did tweak it a bit but it originated from Six Sisters' Stuff.  Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Skinny Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
  2 ripe bananas
2 cups oats
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions
1.  Blend bananas, peanuts butter, applesauce and vanilla together in a blender until it is a smooth consistency.
2.  Add to oats and cocoa powder to a bowl and shift.
3.  Add the banana blend to the oats and mix well.  Cool batter for ~20 minutes in refrigerator.
4.  Drop teaspoonful of batter onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes in preheated oven at 350 degrees.
Happy Guilt Free Eating!

  7. The recipe says to cool the cookies in the fridge, but I don't see where/how long they have to be cooked?

    1. I only cooled batter in the fridge for about 20 minutes (Cool batter for ~20 minutes in refrigerator. ) because it was a little runny after mixing together. :) Hope that helps!
