Nutrisystem: The Next Chapter w/ Weighing In Wednesday Linky

This is a weight loss blog.  However, this summer I have gotten a little away from the "weight loss" part of this blog.  The reason being is I have gotten very far off my weight loss track.  I have majorly slacked on exercise, eating healthy and have gained weight as a result.  I am not proud of it, in fact, I have beaten myself up about it many nights and I could continue to beat myself up about it OR I can do something about it.  I choose to do something.

Welcome to the next chapter of my weight loss journey.

I am extremely excited to announce that I have been accepted into the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program!  Not only have I been waiting awhile to share this wonderful news with you all but I have been anxiously awaiting to start the Nutrisystem journey.  I need a good kick in the butt or a huge motivation to get back on track and  I am extremely hopeful this will give me the motivation I need.  What am I talking about?  I am DETERMINED to succeed at this and I WILL succeed!  Look, the old me is emerging already!

Below is my "before picture" with stretch marks and fat shown to the world! I am not ashamed of it though, I would be if I were just sitting on the couch not doing anything about it but this picture says to me "work in progress."  Yes, I have gained weight but look at how far I have come and just watch how far I will go.  I will not stop until I succeed!

So here begins the next chapter of a very long weight loss journey and as I enter this chapter I have some specific goals in mind.  Here are my short term and long term goals:

4 Month Goal:  I am signed up for 4 months on the Nutrisystem Program and my goal is to lose 35 pounds within these 4 months.  This is not my goal weight but I do not expect to reach that in such a short amount of time.  I actually chose that number because it is the lowest weight I have been at in my adult life and I would like to reach it once again.  I will reach it once again!

My Weekly Goal:  Baby steps, this week I want to lose 6 pounds.  I do not think this is too far fetched, I know at first I will lose a lot of water weight and I could pee at least a good 3 pounds. haha So, 6 pounds here I come or off you go!

My Long Term Goal:  I will reach my goal weight and lose 60 pounds.  I will look all hot and trim and Nutrisystem will beg me to be one of their spokeswomen.  Because a girl can dream, right?

Come join me on this weight loss journey!  Come reach your goals with me, whether it be with Nutrisystem, tracking your food or even your own fitness routine.  Because you deserve a better you and so do i!
