Rocky Mountain Popcorn Giveaway 9/25-10/05

Seriously, can you think of ANYONE who doesn't like popcorn?  I can't, it really is the universal snack.  It is light but filling, comes in all varieties of flavors and is low calorie on top of it. (that is if you don't soak butter all over it, like I use to do!)  For real, whoever is the inventor of popcorn truly does get some major props from me because I. love. it.  Just ask my husband, we are one popcorn eating household.  I love it so much that I keep a huge seal-able bowl in my living room filled with it for a quick go-to snack.

That is why, when I was creating my holiday gift guide this year and I ran across Rocky Mountain Popcorn, I had to contact them.  We have all seen those big Christmas tins that are sold during the holiday season filled with popcorn.  They really do make a great Christmas gift for those certain someones who are hard to shop for BUT I have always had a problem with those.  First off, they only give you a choice of like 2 or 3 flavors, it is usually cheese, caramel and plain popcorn.  Come on now, if you are going to make a holiday gift out of popcorn, at least give me some different varieties.  Secondly, those tins are usually stuffed with like one or two big bags of popcorn.  That is just a set up for staleness.

Having said all of that, let me tell you about Rocky Mountain Popcorn.  When I received my shipment of it, I was like "OK, it looks like that standard popcorn container that is sold in local stores."  And then I opened that sucker and squealed!  Literally, I squealed right there in the middle of my kitchen because that is how excited this popcorn got me.  The box was FULL of a variety of different flavors with different sized bags!  Flavors included naked, buttered, caramel, cinnamon sugar, white cheddar and jalapeno!  Seriously, they had a jalapeno flavored popcorn.

I was sold.  But I had to give it the real test, the husband test.  My husband has a very particular palette and he was not going to like just any old popcorn.

It looks like it is a winner in his book as well!
