Cypher Kids Club Augmented Reality Learning Cards at Target #CBias #CypherKidsClub

I have a 4 year old little girl who loves to learn!  Seriously, she is constantly asking my husband and I to read to her, quiz her on Spanish numbers/colors and she even listens attentively when we study for tests with her older brother.  In addition to her love of learning, she is an expert IPad user, maneuvering her way through the IPad better than I do!  I have a genius on my hands.  So, when I learned our local Target carried the Cypher Kids Augmented Reality Learning Cards, I knew I had to purchase them for her!

While at Target, I was surprised to see an entire wall dedicated to App accessories.  We've recently purchased our IPad, so I am not too privy to all their latest accessories.  The Cypher Kids Learning cards were right on top and I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety to choose from!  They had letters, numbers and wild animal adventures.  I went with the "Wild Animal Adventures" because my little girl is an animal lover but I just might have to return and pick up the other variations as well.

When we returned home and checked out the box more closely, we noticed the App download scan button right on the back of the box!  Good thing we have the red laser scanner already on our IPad, we just scanned the image into our IPad and the Cypher Kids Club Reality App downloaded right away!  Don't you just LOVE technology?

Let me tell you, this App is just full of awesomeness!  You have two choices to check out on each animal, you can choose to take a snapshot of the animal or an entire exploration of it.  The exploration pops up the snapshot and gives a narrative of the animal with various facts about each.  The 3D pop up picture is so detailed, you can zoom in closer or further away AND rotate the IPad around the card to see different views.  They are also interactive with each animal having its own little "trick"!

But what I especially appreciate about these cards is the knowledge it is giving my kids.  On each exploration, the App provides information on the animals habitat, what the animal eats, behaviors of the animal and much more!  I have been looking for some unique learning tools on the IPad and I have definitely found it!  These cards are not only fun but they are like having a teacher right at the palm of your hands, literally.

The best part is my little genius loves the Cypher Reality learning cards and app.  She not only played with it when I opened the box but later n the evening I found her in my room with the cards spread across the bed.  She was scanning in the animals and listening attentively to each description.  I am grateful to have found such a great learning tool and I look forward to checking out the others!
