  16. Don't drink your calories! It's easy consume juice, soda, milk etc and not realize how many extra calories you are getting. Eat food, drink water. Drink club soda, tea or black coffee if you really need a fun drink.

I gave up pop about 2 yrs ago because I suddenly wasn't feeling well - thought it was heat stroke or something because I'd been out in the sun/heat of 95+ for two days (zoo trip one day and a local outdoor historical village another) - found out that I had built up an intollerance to aspertaime... can't drink diet pop anymore and my tastebuds don't like the regular pop that I used to drink... still not drinking enough water though - Nestea Ice Tea is my new drink of choice, but really has more carbs than I should based on how much I drink... need more water.

  31. Cut out all soda...it has no nutritional value AT ALL! And you won't miss it after a really short time off it. For everything else, don't deny yourself something you really want, just enjoy a small portion of not-so-healthy items so you won't obsess about it and eat everything else in sight trying to satisfy your craving and it won't work anyway!
