Reflected In You: A Crossfire Novel Review and Bared To You Giveaway

People get over love, they can live without it, they can move on.  Love can be lost and found again.  But that won't happen for me.  I won't survive you, Eva.

Reflected In You is the second book in the Crossfire trilogy by Sylvia Day.  The story revolves around an extremely attractive, highly sought after Bazillionaire, Gideon Cross and a beautiful, feisty, advertising assistant, Eva Tramell falling madly in love.  However, their relationship comes with many obstacles, both are haunted by a dark past that have damaged them both to the point where they fear it could tear them apart.
Reflected In You brings you on an emotional roller coaster ride through their turbulent relationship and has you guessing every step of the way.  You will laugh then cry, get all steamy then angry as heck, confused then shocked!

I was first introduced to the first book of the Crossfire trilogy Bared To You after completing the 50 Shades of Grey books and having withdrawals from sexy romance novels.  I was hooked to The Crossfire book instantly and was even more of a fan of these books than the 50 Shades.  You see, I am all for girl power.  I admire a strong woman that will stand up for herself and do not need a man's reassurance to define her self worth.  Eva Tramell is the sort of woman that us girls can root for!  She has a good job, her own money, her own pimped out apartment in Manhattan and even close friends that will do anything for her.  She is feisty and will stand up for herself, even against Mr. Controling Bazillionaire Gideon Cross.  And Gideon, well lets just say he is every girls dream, hot, rich and totally devoting to his girl.  You will want to jump right into the book and become Eva.

Their love affair is so reminiscent of 50 Shades of Grey, the damaged guy that no other woman has ever been able to get close to becomes totally obsessed with the beautiful girl that needs saving.  The book screams hot and steamy but with out the whips and chains, thank goodness!  But the thing that stands out the most in this book is his love for her, his obsession for her, his willingness to do ANYTHING to keep her safe, even if it means to stay away from her.  You see, Gideon is haunted by a past of his own, a past that causes him nightmares that even cause him to attack Eva almost raping her!

Bared To You leaves you wondering if their relationship will survived, Reflected In You keeps you rooting for them because it just has to work, right?  Because "he can not survive her" or can he?  You have to read it to find out, no spoilers here!!!

  9. I would love to ready this book, I am not into the romance thing. I love books that are in sets where you want to read more to learn about the characters. It has been a while since I have had the time to sit back and read something for pleasure.
