Soda Stream Soda Maker Review

I wanted to know what all the hype was about when I decided to review the Soda Stream product.  Truthfully, when I received it in the mail I was thinking "Oh man, just another novelty product that will end up cluttering my home and collecting dust."  Let me tell you how very WRONG I was!

Another reason I was so reluctant about the product was because I am not really a soda drinker and neither are my kids.  Actually, I do not let them drink soda because of all the "bad stuff" in it.  So, you can understand my joy when I opened the package and saw there were water flavorings!  YES!  I have been struggling to get in my daily amount of water and this can be the perfect solution for me!  Oh, but the excitement over the product did not stop there!  I was extremely happy to hear that even the regular flavors did not contain high fructose AND the diet flavors are sweetened with Splenda instead of aspartame.

I put my husband in charge of the set up and operations because he likes that kind of stuff and I dislike reading directions.  Although, after watching him operate the Soda Stream, I realized it was so easy to use even a monkey could do it!

Simple fill the carbonating bottles with water and chill.  When ready for use, securely screw the bottle into the soda maker and press the button a few times to fizz it up.  You only want to press the button a few times because you can over fizz the water and it will start to over flow once removed from the machine.  Once removed, add the flavoring of your choice and enjoy!

 If the convenience of Soda Stream does not have you running out to buy one, the flavors and cost savings will!  There is such a wide variety of flavors from your regular Cola and Diet Cola to Energy drinks and even Country Time Lemonade!  I mentioned the water flavorings but if you can not decide which flavor yo want, you can buy the 12 pack sampler.  And the price is just awesome, ranging from $4.99-$9.99 a bottle with each bottle yielding 12 liters!

My husband fell in love with his Soda Stream so much that he had a friend over for a Soda Party!  We fizzed, mixed flavors and most importantly enjoyed a refreshing sodatail thanks to Soda Stream and their awesome product!

I now totally understand the appeal of the Soda Stream and why everyone is just raving about their soda makers.  The soda maker has now graced our household for over a month now and we use it 4-5 times a week!
