They say the average person gains around 2 pounds during the Holiday season. That does not sound too bad, right? Well, the problem is those pounds are not lost after the Holidays are over and the extra weight is held on for the rest of the year. I am not the average person! Thanks to the Nutrisystem program, I did not gain weight this year but I actually lost weight and was looking super hot for the Holidays!
I have been on a bit of a Holiday sabbatical this past week, I spent time enjoying Christmas with my family and relaxing. I also did some baking and indulging but for the majority of the time I stuck to the Nutrisystem program. And I am very proud of myself, I did not gain a single pound! Yup, I am NOT average! But with the New Year, brings new weight loss and fitness milestones I am going to conquer!

ReplyDeleteGood job!!! I think I did good too. I think I'm actually down about 3 pounds in the month of December. I'll know when I weigh tomorrow! It's so tough sometimes but I'm trying! Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I was just scrolling through the MANY unread blog posts I have in my reader and was thinking about you, wondering how your holiday went. I did NOT do well and am shaking my finger towards myself and vowing to get back on track!

Your New Year’s resolution list looks so much like mine! My big one is to quit smoking, and to help me quit I’m thinking about going on the patch. One of my supervisors at DISH, who used to smoke habitually, recommended that I exercise every time I have a craving. She suggested the videos on DISH Online that are quick and easy to do. They have an assortment of quick yoga, Pilate, and core videos that I know will help me keep trim as I bring in the New Year, and help me kick the cravings. I think this will be a two for one kind of deal for me!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I can't wait to get back in the swing of things and drop some unwanted inches before conference season starts!
ReplyDeleteGood work! Hope you keep it up :)
