Nutrisystem Week 15 & 16: The Holidays & Top Ten New Years Resolutions

They say the average person gains around 2 pounds during the Holiday season.  That does not sound too bad, right?  Well, the problem is those pounds are not lost after the Holidays are over and the extra weight is held on for the rest of the year.  I am not the average person!  Thanks to the Nutrisystem program, I did not gain weight this year but I actually lost weight and was looking super hot for the Holidays!

Nutrisystem Week 13: My Favorite Nutrisystem Lunches

It is now week 13 on the Nutrisystem program and all I can say is, I Love Nutrisystem!  I have been on many, MANY weight loss programs before and I usually tire of them easily.  Typically around the second month, I am dreading the "diet" food and craving a burger or pizza.  Well, I DO crave a burger and pizza but this time it is different, this time I am craving a Nutrisystem burger and Nutrisystem pizzas!  I know you have heard this from me over and over again but I really, truly LOVE the Nutrisystem food!  And today I am going to share with you all a few of my favorites.

My Top Five Favorite Nutrisystem Lunches

Margherita Pizza: This is one of Nutrisystem frozen lunch meals and recently it has become my favorite!  You can see why, look how delicious it is with it's whole wheat crust, fire roasted tomatoes, herb mozzarella cheese AND creamy ricotta.

Tis The Season To Give

I was driving with Zach the other day and as we were sitting at a red light we both spot a homeless man with a "Homeless, Need Help" sign.  Immediately, I begin digging through my purse to find some money to give him.  I thought I would even take it a step further and get Zach involved in the "giving" process, so I give him the money to hand to the man.

Healthy Chocolate Mug Cake with Peanut Butter Filling

I've seen these mug cake recipes all over Pinterest lately and thought they looked delicious and really easy to make.  However, I have never attempted to make one because they looked way too fattening!  Well folks, I found a recipe that is actually good for you!  The calorie content is not exactly "low" but it is SO much better for you than the originals.  The cake is low in carbs, high in protein and filled with healthy fats.  And the best part, it is moist and simply delicious!

Nutrisystem Week 12: I Fell Off The Wagon

I can dream about eating a cupcake and wake up to an extra 5 pounds right to the bottom.  OK, maybe that is stretching it a bit, I would probably only gain about 1 or 2 pounds.  Well, this week I must have been dreaming!  I gained 2 pounds.
