Disney On Ice: Rockin' Ever After Review

This weekend Disney On Ice's Rockin' Ever After came to town and gave an awesome performance.  I took my little girl and niece (both 4 years old) to the show because what little girl does not love princesses?!  In fact, what little girl does not want to be a princess herself?!  I know both my girls do and boy were they excited to see this show.  The entire week both girls were counting down the days to the big show and even picked out their princess wardrobe!

The minute we arrived the girls could hardly contain their excitement.  They were dancing around the arena and in full "bliss" mode.  It sure warmed this moms heart to see the joy in their eyes.  And the fun was just beginning because before the show even began, the girls were invited to a "Meet and Greet" where they were able to mingle with other princesses, color their favorite Disney characters and even meet a special guest.

They got to meet the big guy himself, Mickey Mouse!!  And Bella wanted to make sure I shared with everyone that she almost knocked over Mickey with her high five.  The girls had a ball (Princess pun intended) at the "Meet and Greet" but now it was time for the show.

It is my opinion that if you are going to bring your child to one of these shows, then go big!  There is nothing like feeling like you are part of the show and not just watching it from the side lines.  So I suggest splurge a little more on some good seats!  Our seats were amazing and it was truly the cherry on top because the show was equally as fabulous!

The show featured Merida from the movie Brave, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, Rapunzel from Tangled and my favorite, Ariel from The Little Mermaid.  The skating was indeed superb but it was the costumes, special effects and added acrobats that really blew me away!  The story lines were put together brilliantly to really highlight each movie and characters and the best part was both girls were glued to the show the entire time!

As a mom, it is memories like these that I hope my children remember and always treasure.  The night they were able to be a princess and be a part of the princess world.  Always remember girls, you are "A part of that world."

I wanna be where the people are
I wanna see
Wanna see 'em dancin'
Walkin' around on those
(Whad'ya call 'em?) oh - feet
Flippin' your fins you don't get too far
Legs are required for jumpin', dancin'
Strollin' along down a
(What's that word again?) street

Up where they walk
Up where they run
Up where they stay all day in the sun
Wanderin' free
Wish I could be
Part of that world
