What were you doing last Sunday? In my home, during the football season, one never has to ask that question because Sunday is game time fun day! The tradition of watching football has been carried on since I was a young girl and I am happy to have passed it on to my kids. We try to get all of our “chores” done beforehand because when the games come, nothing else will get done! That’s right, no cleaning, laundry or even cooking during the football games; just cheering! But we have to eat at some point and what food goes best with football? Pizza! It is quick, easy and DELICIOUS!
Now that we know what is on the football watching menu (Pizzas, always!), it’s just a matter of deciding where to get our pizza. The way I look at it, I have three choices. First, I can cook a pizza but that option is totally nixed due to it taking time away from the games! Second choice, I can order some pizzas but that can get VERY expensive considering my 8 year old son can down an entire pizza on his own. The third and only choice in my opinion? DiGiorno Pizza!!! They are just as delicious as making your own or ordering out AND right now they are even cheaper than usual! Walmart has DiGiornos on rollback for $4.50 a pizza! Match that with the awesome coupon I had, I bought my DiGorno pizzas for $3.50 each! Score!!!
Now if you have never had a DiGiorno pizza before (have you been under a rock?!), the first thing you will notice is the ease of it! No strange packaging where you have to cut the plastic off the pizza, and in the midst of it, losing half the cheese in the process (you know what I am talking about). None of these frozen pizza fails with DiGiorno, it come with an awesomely easy packaging, one can simply peel off the top plastic and it is ready to pop right into the oven! Twenty minutes later, as the delicious smell begins to waft through the house and draw the kids to the oven, it is ready to serve!
Now this is what I call the epitome of happiness; football, pizza and family! What a great family day we had watching the games together! One of the best parts of it all was because Walmart rolled back its Digiorno pizzas prices, I was able to save a little money on the days affair as well!
Because feeding this brood can get expensive but the smiles on their faces is “Oh, so worth it!”
So, stock your freezer for the big game next Sunday with this great DiGiorno rollback deal from Walmart. Your bellies and pocketbook will thank you!
And on a side note, GOOOOOO Denver!!! 🙂
Who will you be rooting for?
