“Adults are only kids grown up, anyway” -Walt Disney
I’ve said it before and I will say it again, “I love all things Disney.” I have passed this love of Disney along to my children, we attend every Disney show that comes through town, we are the first ones in line for a new Disney movie and even party Disney style! Just hearing the word “Disney” elicits this feeling of pure excitement in us!
I think the reason Disney appeals to us as kids and adults alike is because regardless of age, whether you are a boy or girl, Disney evokes this “magic” in us all. Just think back, think back to all of the Disney movies over the years, think about how these movies have taught us so many valuable life lessons.

Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story – Trailer on Disney Video
And sometimes Disney teaches us lessons without having to say a word. Take a peak of the trailer above “Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story“, a 38 minute stop-motion animated film based on the popular Disney Parks Vinylmation collectible franchise. Blank is an unpainted Vinylmation on a heart-warming, epic adventure to find his lost soulmate in an original new world.
You see Blank was very different looking from all other Vinylmation characters, after being made he comes out — well, blank. He was not made into a specific character, he did not have any “cool” look to him, he did not even have color. He was just blank and as hard as he tried to fit in and even color himself, it just wouldn’t stick. He was alone until he met someone that was also “blankish”, meet Bow. From the moment they set eyes blank faces on one another, they knew they were meant to be.
However, the story does not end there because love is never that simple. Bow was shipped off on a train to be “repaired” and Blank sets off on an adventure and will stop at nothing to be reunited with her.
Although this journey began with Blank on a search to find his lost soul-mate, he learns so much more along the way. In true Disney form, this story is about finding ones identity and self acceptance with keeping with the focus on the importance of love and friendship. This story will melt your heart and it will do so without speaking a word. I highly suggest to check it out for yourself!
Disney Interactive and Google teamed up to launch Blank: A Vinylmation Love Story exclusively on Google Play for FREE. That way it can be viewed online from your computer, your Android phone/tablet, or your IPhone/IPad through the Google Play movies and TV app.
And in celebration of the highly anticipated premiere, Google has invited their fans to share frames of the film with family and friends as digital greeting cards at blankmovie.withgoogle.com. After sharing, fans can then unlock a special second film, “Cranes in Love,” created especially for Google users!
So, what are you waiting for? Go watch the film! And as Walt himself has said:
“The more you like yourself, the less you are like anyone else, which makes you unique.“
