Top 5 Reasons to See Disney’s Frozen: Open in Theaters November 27

On November 27th, Disney’s Frozen opened up in theaters across the country and I took the kids to see it!  I love Disney movies but this one in particular was a request by my son, he has wanted to see it ever since he saw the first preview.  I was a little shocked because he does not usually want to see “princess” movies but I think it had aspects that appealed to all!  Here is a little blurb about the movie:
Walt Disney Animation Studios, the studio behind “Tangled” and “Wreck-It Ralph,” presents “Frozen,” a stunning big-screen comedy adventure. Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom

Number 1:  Beautiful Illustration
We went to see the movie in 3D and I was so glad we did because it was definitely worth it!   I was amazed at how “real” all the characters came to life on screen.  The ice castle that princess Elsa retreated to was so beautiful I wished I lived there!  Seriously, I have never seen such a beautifully done movie in my life.
Number 2: Sibling Love
The deeper meaning in the film hit hard for me.  The love and devotion that the sisters had for each other in the film was heart warming, I was particularly happy that my son and daughter was there to witness this sibling love.  I am always trying to resonate the importance of a close bond with your sibling and this movie was such a great example of that bond!
Number 3: The Comedy
I think the snowman (Olaf) just made the movie!  The comedy he brought in made the movie appeal to both boys and girls of all ages.  He had up rolling in our seats!!
Number 4: The Singing

I just love a good musical and this movie will not disappoint in that area.  Frozen had the perfect mixture of story and singing and the tunes were super catchy!  There were fun songs, heart warming songs and even funny/silly songs throughout.  It will have you bobbing in your seat.
Number 5: The Love Story
Oh yes, if you enjoy a good love story then you will love Frozen.  Now I do not want to give away the end of the movie but I will tell you that one of the things I liked about this movie was it demonstrated “smart love”.  It totally showed how one must be smart about love and that is something I want to teach both of my kids.
So what are you waiting for, why aren’t you leaving NOW to see Disney’s Frozen?  It is a must see for the entire family!

I also wish I'd seen this review sooner! As we will actually celebrate Christmas on the 26th this year (so many folks coming from out of town, extended families, etc.) I may take the nieces and nephews to this movie Christmas Day!

I wish I'd seen this review sooner. I really want to see the movie. My Sister and her family are going to see it early today. Unfortunately, I can't get there in time to join them. I still hope to see it soon though.
