The kids return to school this week and we are all back into the full swing of things. Busy, busy, busy! It seems like the first week of school is always the toughest on them. When they return home from a busy school day, you can tell they are mentally and physically exhausted and always hungry! So, I make sure to have a yummy snack ready and waiting to hold them over until dinner. However, with my own busy schedule, I have to make that snack a quick and easy recipe.
When I ran across the $1.00 off coupon, receive $1.00 off when you buy one container of Cool Whip and two boxes of Jello, I knew exactly what I wanted to make. And Since I had a container of fresh strawberries in the refrigerator, I decided on my Strawberries and Cream Trifle dish!
Now when it comes to snacks, a balanced, nutritious and wholesome snack is what I strive for. Jello and Cool Whip makes it easy to accomplish this! Not only is it better for you but it’s also super easy to prepare!

So, I headed out to our local Walmart to pick up all the ingredients for the trifle, with coupon in tow of course! Walmart makes it super easy to find products you are looking for; they conveniently hang signs in each aisle. I found the Jello right under the “Gelatin” sign and Cool Whip in the frozen food section under “Dessert & Toppings.” I was in and out in no time and rushed home to prepare the Strawberries and Cream Trifle!

The picture above shows cook and serve pudding however the recipe lists instant pudding. It would be helpful if the information was consistent.
