With Maleficent coming out on DVD/BluRay next week (11/4) and Halloween just a few days away, there could not be better timing for Disney to release it’s “Disney Princess Beauty Collection: Good vs Evil.”
Channel your inner Disney Princess (or villain!) with a beauty collection that embodies the characteristics, stories and personalities of Disney’s beloved heroine Aurora, and villain, Maleficent. The collection includes look books, eye lashes, nail art and cosmetic bags.
During my press trip to LA last month, I received some of the collection to try out for myself. This was perfect timing because it just so happens that I am dressing up as Maleficent for Halloween! My husband made the comment “everyone will be Maleficent this year for Halloween.” This might be true, which is why this Disney Beauty Collection is sure to be a hit! I especially love the “evil” false eye lashes, they will definitely complete my evil Maleficent look.
I think my husband is wrong, while I do think there will be many Maleficent’s for Halloween this year, you can bet that there will be tons and TONS of princesses! I actually tried to get my daughter to go as Aurora for Halloween to match my costume, Good vs Evil. She would not go for it but that does not stop her from showing her princess side. To go along with the “evil look” of the Disney villain, this collection also has the cutest “good look.” I absolutely adore the false princess eye lashes! It is hard to tell in the picture but the top pair of false eye lashes actually have rhinestones in them. It makes me want to go as a princess this year. Nah I will stick with my evil side, I play it so well.
Along with the eye lashes, I also received the cutest cosmetic bags and eye makeup by elf cosmetics. The eye shadow colors are great for both the good and evil look. I will be wearing the black, purple and silver colors for my Maleficent look but it also has a gold, brown and rose shadow color for a softer princess look. Thanks to Disney’s Princess Beauty Collection, I might actually win the costume contest we have every year. Cross your fingers for me!
You can find the Disney Princess Beauty Collection at your local drug store, prices range from $7.99 – $9.99.
Don’t forget, Maleficent will hit the shelves on Blu-Ray November 4th!
