Meet my family.  My husband Greg, the humorous and unpredictable one who always lightens the mood.  My son Zachary, maker of origami ninja stars with hard-core fighting skills.  My daughter Bella, the book worm who loves technology and admitted YouTube addict.  And of course myself, Amanda, the leader and meal planner of this crazy bunch!  I know what you are thinking, the description of my family sounds awfully familiar.  Perhaps we remind you of a certain famous bunch named Michelangelo, Raphael, Donatello and Leonardo?  It just so happens, we do not only share characteristics with them but we are HUGE fans!  Which is why we are super stoked for the upcoming movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows in theaters June 3rd!

Tyson Foods is having a promotion that combines three of our favorite things. Well, maybe four, or five, or… The promotion is simple: Buy any 2 participating Tyson®, Ball Park®, State Fair®, or Jimmy Dean® products at Walmart, snap a picture of your receipt, and get a movie ticket to see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows! I thought how simple, I’ll go get two of our family’s favorite munchies, follow the guidelines and we’ll receive a FREE ticket to our favorite movie! Easy, right?  All of Tyson’s products are not only delicious; they are also a quick, good source of protein, and easy to make & easy to eat snacks. Perfect for me and my family.

So off to the store I went.  My kids were with me.  Picture it: There we were, three sets of eyes in the freezer section at Walmart, each of us focused on a different snack.  Among the three of us, we could not agree on the same two snacks!  Why?  We wanted them all!  Bella was holding out for the Ball Park® Flame Grilled Patties and State Fair® Mini Corn Dogs; Zach was insistent upon Tyson® Any’tizers and the Jimmy Dean® Pancakes & Sausage, while I was attempting to end the stand-off with my choice of Tyson® Crispy Chicken Strips.  I was not prepared to buy ALL the Tyson products despite the quality and affordability. Then I had what I considered to be a brilliant idea.

Hey kids, what is our FAVORITE meal?  You know, the meal we share with our favorite characters Mikey, Raph, Leo and Donnie?!  “Pizza!” The both replied.  How about I make a scrumptious pizza with one of the Tyson ingredients in honor of the new movie?!  “YESSSS!!”  I wish all of my problems were so easily solved.

Easy Homemade Crispy Chicken Pizza Recipe

Ingredients
1 3/4 cup Flour
1 tsp Salt
1 TBS Fasting Acting Yeast
1 TBS Olive Oil
8 oz Warm Water
Shredded Cheese (Mozzarella & Mild Cheddar)
Pizza Sauce
Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips
Directions

Add the flour to mixer and create a well in the center.  Add yeast, salt, oil and water to the inside of the well.

Turn on mixer to “kneading” speed.  Using the dough hook, start mixing the dough until it forms a ball.  Continue to knead for about 5 minutes.

Grease a bowl and place dough in the bowl.  Cover bowl with a towel and place in a warm area to rise for about 30-40 minutes.

The dough should double in size.  Remove from the bowl and knead with hands for about 5 minutes.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Spray pizza pan with non-stick cooking spray and press dough into the pan forming a circular pizza shape.

Spread pizza sauce and cheese over pizza dough.

The chicken strips will be frozen so, place them in the microwave 1-2 minutes to thaw.  Cut up strips into small chunks and spread on top of the pizza.

Cook pizza for 15-20 minutes or until cheese has completely melted.  Enjoy this easy and delicious homemade pizza!!
