Last week, I wrote about how absolutely fabulous Cooked Perfect Premium Fire Grilled Chicken is for getting that yummy BBQ grilled flavor without doing the actual grilling yourself. This chicken is great for family meals, snacking, adding to leftovers, and for creating marvelous appetizers. For many families, football Sunday is a time for getting together, sharing with friends, celebrating favorite teams, and eating favorite foods. These things are all true for my family. Football Sunday is a major fun day shared with both family and friends. Every year, someone’s house is decided upon, we all bring potluck and prepare to spend hours having a major good time.

Am I yelling? I do tend to get a bit excited about cooking and the superior products that I find. Sorry. This year, I have to prepare an appetizer for the football game day. I knew I wanted to use the Cooked Perfect Premium Fire Grilled Tenders, but I wanted to create a new recipe that family and friends have not yet eaten. So I went to my laboratory (aka kitchen) and began to cook. The dish that emerged was alluring in its savory aromas, pleasing presentation, and delectable taste. I made a Chicken Parmesan Pull-Apart Bread. I knew I had a hit! Oh yes, when one uses the proper ingredients, the end result can be majestic! I say this with all humility. I am a good cook, but with ordinary chicken, my recipes would not be all that. Using Fire Grilled Chicken allows me to start a dish way ahead of the flavor curve. The fact that this chicken is packaged, fully marinated and cooked, and it is pure chicken without breading, speaks to its superior quality and ease of use.

As the aromas of my test chicken pull apart filled my kitchen, I noticed that my family slowly started to draw closer and closer. First, faces moved closer to the kitchen. Then I had three people in the kitchen talking to me, then soon three sets of eyes were peering at the oven. I could not blame them, the delicious smells were intoxicating and making every hunger trigger activate. “Out!” I yelled or no one gets any. My husband and kids put on hang-dog, sad faces and slowly receded back into the den. In a few minutes, a platter of indescribable goodness lay steaming on my kitchen table. I selfishly stole a few moments to breathe in the goodness. Then I moved aside and yelled, “It’s ready!”. If I had not moved, I probably would have been crushed in the stampede. It only took a few minutes for the entire platter to be emptied. Another satisfying success. Thank-you, Cooked Perfect Fire Grilled Chicken! Cooked Perfect Premium Fire Grilled Chicken is found in the freezer aisle at Kroger, Stop & Shop, Giant and Wegmans stores.
