A totally spoiler free movie review of the new Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War, in theaters across the nation THIS Friday, April 27th!
Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War is quite possibly the most highly anticipated movie of the year and I was lucky enough to be a part of the very FIRST audience (including the cast) to view it! To say I was nervous going into this film would an understatement, there was so much talk about Avengers meeting their death in this film, I was truly scared for some of my beloved dudes and dudettes. My nerves were also met with huge excitement, the past 10 years of Marvel movies have led up to this moment and I could not wait to see how Marvel merged the bands of heroes together to stop the big meanie Thanos from capturing all of the infinity stones.
The moment was finally here, it felt so surreal as i sat in the theater and watched the stage fill up with all of the heroes from the film. I will filled with emotion and cheered on my guys & gals in hopes they make it through the next 2 and a half hours. The time has arrived….
My First Reaction
It’s been almost 24 hours since I saw the film and I am still having trouble processing the emotional rollercoaster I was taken through on the Avengers: Infinity War ride. So let me begin with the easy part, the characters are everything. With so many big heroes all in one movie, you would think one may stand out over the other but they do not. No matter if you are an Ironman fan, a Captain America fan or a Guardian fan; you favorite hero will have his day on screen and will shine. Well, you may not see ALL your favorite Avengers, because that would have made the movie like 3 and a half hours, but the heroes that were brought carried their weight.
My Favorite Aspect Of The Film
There is nothing better than seeing your favorite Avengers together on the big screen and some of them sharing the screen together for the first time! The comedy that ensues is priceless. Yes, I said comedy. Leading up to the film everyone has been all “doom and gloom” with the talks of which (if any) Avengers will die but that gloom is often forgotten due to the huge amount of laughter.
I’m not telling you WHY there will be tears in this film, it may be tears of sadness or it may be tears of joy, but I will tell you to pack tissues cause there WILL be tears. Avengers: Infinity War definitely takes you on an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish, you may not appreciate it but I can assure you there is never a dull moment in this film.
Avengers: Infinity War is so NOT predictable, just when you think you “may” know what is going down Marvel throws you a complete curve ball and you are left with your jaw hitting the floor. The only predictable part about the movie is it’s AMAZING and will totally live up, if not exceed expectations.
Did you really think I would give away the ending of the film in this review? Heck no, I said it was a spoiler free movie review and I will not give away any secrets but Marvel might… Any good Marvel fan knows that you must, MUST stay through the creidts of the film because Marvel always leaves you with a bit of a surprise of what is to come. After seeing the after the credits scene in Avenegers: Infinity War all i can say is AWESOMENESS is coming to the MCU but would we expect anything different?
