A behind the scenes look at the World Premiere of Ralph Breaks The Internet, coming to theaters across the nation on November 21st!
Last week I announced that I would be attending the red carpet world premiere of Ralph Breaks The Internet in Los Angeles! Well, the premiere has come and gone and I have all the inside information for you of not only the red carpet experience but also the after party! This coverage is just the beginning, I will be bringing you more information throughout the weeks of the junket including a movie review and virtual reality experience, so stay tuned for much more to come!
I am always corrected when i call these events the “red carpet”, hence why I used World Premiere for this particular title. The carpet for Ralph Breaks the Internet was in face blue and just as fun as the movie is. No, you are not getting any spoilers from the movie from me jsut yet but I will talk about the exciting night!
If ya’ll have followed any of my past red carpet experiences you would know I am all about the dress and having a “theme” for the carpet. After watching the trailers for Ralph Breaks The Internet, one of my favorite scenes was of course the princess scene! So, I wanted to channel my favorite princess of all time Merida from the movie Brave for my look. I included the freshly done red hair and crazy curls into my look, of course.
And check out this photo of the REAL princesses gracing the carpet of Ralph Breaks The Internet! From left to right we have Irene Bedard (Pocahontas), Kate Higgins (voice of Aurora), Jennifer Hale (who voices Cinderella), Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel), Mandy Moore (Rapunzel in Tangled), Sarah Silverman (Vanellope von Schweetz), Ming-Na Wen (Mulan), Paige O’Hara (Belle from Beauty and the Beast), Linda Larkin (Jasmine from Aladdin), Auli’i Cravalho (Moana) and Pamela Ribon (who voices Snow White). Pamela Ribon also help co-write the princess scene in Ralph Breaks The Internet!
After the movie, it was straight over to The Roosevelt for the Ralph Breaks The Internet after party and I was on a princess hunt! Not going to lie, while my favorite princess is Merida I was on a hunt for Vanellope AKA Sarah Silverman. I am a HUGE fan of Sarah Silverman’s and I just HAD to get a picture of myself with her! Mission Accomplished.
I ran into a few of the other princesses at the after party which included the lovey Paige O’Hara, who voices Belle from Beauty And The Beast.
And when I asked Irene Bedard, who voices Pocahontas, she grabbed me and squeezed me and made me her very best friend! Sarah Silverman you have to watch out because while I was on a quest to meet you, I just fell in love with Irene, what a sweetheart she was!
Last but certainly not least, I have to mention a group of my favorite princesses on the caret that night, the cast of The Geekly Show! From left to right we have Sarah (dressed as Belle), Tania (dressed as Jasmine, Tessa (dressed as Rapunzel), Amiyrah (dressed as Tiana) and myself (dressed as Merida). Oh yeah and that guy in the middle. that is no other than Fix-It-Felix himself Jack McBrayer who wanted to jump in on the photo with The Geekly Show cast. He must have heard how awesome we are!
Since we are talking about some of the other cast in Ralph Breaks The Internet, I have to mention running into Ralph himself John C. Reily at the after party and grabbing a quick photo with him.
And Alan Tudyk who voices Knowsmore in the film! The night was just as amazing as ou would expect it to be and the movie, well I will have more information for you on the movie in the weeks to come. For now I will leave you with this: Ralph Breaks The Internet will be breaking the box offices when audiences see just how GREAT it is!
Ralph Breaks The Internet hits Theaters November 21st!
In “Ralph Breaks the Internet,” video-game bad guy Ralph and best friend Vanellope von Schweetz leave the comforts of Litwak’s arcade in an attempt to save her game, Sugar Rush. Their quest takes them to the vast, uncharted world of the internet where they rely on the citizens of the internet – the Netizens – to help navigate their way. Lending a virtual hand are Yesss, the head algorithm and the heart and soul of the trend-making site “BuzzzTube,” and Shank, a tough-as-nails driver from a gritty online auto-racing game called Slaughter Race, a place Vanellope wholeheartedly embraces – so much so that Ralph worries he may lose the only friend he’s ever had.
