Amazon helps customers deliver smiles to their friends and family this season, transforming them into holiday heroes.
I absolutely, positively love this time of year! The holidays are my jam, some say I have candy canes and sugar plums running through my veins because I remind them of Will Ferrell’s character in the movie Elf. I do it all from Christmas Caroling around the neighborhood to Holiday Cookie Exchanges, I am basically the epitome of Christmas’ number one fan. And as much as I love this time of year, I have to admit it can also be very stressful. To avoid the un-needed headaches, I’m all about finding shortcuts in life to reduce stress!
This year, it’s time to celebrate (not stress about) the holidays! With low prices and deep discounts, vast selection, innovative ways to shop when and where you want, and convenient doorstep delivery with free shipping on millions of items, Amazon has you covered this holiday.
I am a year round loyal Amazon Prime customer. Over 90% of my kids Back-to-School shopping was done through Amazon, most birthday gifts are purchased through Amazon and I especially avoid the crowds during the holiday and shop Amazon for all of my needs! Not only does Amazon have everything I am looking for but you can’t beat its fast and free shipping through the holidays on hundreds of millions of items!
One of the many holiday traditions we hold in our household is an annual cookie exchange. This year I decided to switch up our annual Cookie Exchange Party with a “Holiday Cocoa Party” instead. Everyone loved the idea but the only problem is, with many of my “great ideas” I come up with, it is usually a last-minute thing! So, I had to leap into action to pull off my new Cocoa Party idea! I hurried over to Amazon to order all my needed supplies. I knew they would arrive within 2 days of ordering them, even on Sunday! Check out my supply list and recipes below.
List of Supplies For The Cocoa Party
Cold Cocoa Recipe
2 cups milk
3 cups ice
4 packs hot cocoa mix
2 tsp vanilla
toppings: whipped cream, peppermint stick
Directions: Blend milk, ice and cocoa mix until all ice is crushed.
Cocoa Cups Treat
1 tube sugar cookie dough
Instant chocolate pudding
Press sugar cookie dough into a mini tart pan and cook as directed on package. Remove cookies from oven and cool. Once cookies are cooled, attach peppermint using melted white chocolate and place in freeze to harden. Fill each cup with chocolate pudding, top with marshmallow bits and enjoy!
The Cocoa Party was a huge success and we are already planning to recreate it next year with a few new ideas. And I know, whatever ideas we come up with beforehand, I can count on Amazon to help me see them through and put many smiles on attendees faces!
Amazon is committed to #DeliveringSmiles this holiday season through a variety of ways – stay tuned throughout the season to discover how!
