Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil Red Carpet Premiere
I have been looking forward to Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil ever since I first heard Disney was making a sequel of the popular film starring Angelina Jolie and Elle Fanning. I am a huge fan of the Sleeping Beauty story and I absolutely loved the live-action adaptation of the first film. Last week, I not only had the opportunity to see the new Maleficent film early but I also attended the Los Angeles red carpet premiere!
If you have been following me, then you would know red carpet premieres are my JAM! I love the excitement of the carpet, the celebrities walking around and I love dressing up for the ocassion. With each red carpet I attend, I know I like to rock a look which goes with the theme of the movie. For this particular film, I wanted to go with a lace “medieval-ish” look and I found this gorgeous green lace dress on Amazon!
Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil Red Carpet Celebrity Spottings
Attending a red carpet event for a Hollywood film is ALL about the celebrities and I love my celebrity selfies. As I was entering the carpet area through security, I look over to my right and see Boo Boo Stewart, who is well known for his role in the Descendants and Twilight movies! I was very happy to see him but it was also a bit of a somber moment. Last time I spooted him on a red carpe it was with Cameron Boyce, who has since passed away. Like I always remembered, Boo Boo was kind and graciously took a selfie with me. Side note: I also had to tell him the story of my friend who uses the phrase, “You do you Boo Boo Stewart.” He enjoyed it and claims he is going to start using the phrase. We shall see!
Adina Porter, who I recognized from American Horror Story, also attended the premiere. I love the characters she has played on AHS and we chatted a bit about it. It is always a cherry on top when celebrities you meet and admire are just as nice in person as you imagined them to be. She was definitely one of them!
The carpet was FILLED with Disney channel stars! Olivia Rodrigo and the rest of her co-stars of the new High School Musical: The Musical: The Series were living their best lives at the premiere. Along with this selfie, I also hung out with the cast at the after party a bit and even had the cast sing “We’re In This Together”
After Party & Initial Reaction

I caught Ed Skrein at the after party. I absolutely LOVED him in Maleficent: Mistress of Evil! I can not talk about the movie yet but look out soon for my spoiler-free movie review!
And while I did see Angelina Jolie with her kids at the after party, I wasn’t able to grab a photo with her. However, I did see her father John Voigt and he happily took photos with everyone around!
