Blackstone Griddle NAAN RECIPE

My husband and I just absolutely LOVE our Blackstone Griddle and now that warmer weather is here, we have been cooking on it pretty much every day of the week.  We have even moved it to our garage for the winter, so we can use it when the temps outside were freezing, so it isn’t like we stopped using it ever! From not only grilling meats and stirfrys on our griddle, we have also made breakfast, snacks and desserts!  This week we have even tried our hands at a few recipes we know tend to make indoor but have converted them to the griddle, like this Naan made on the griddle!  It turned out delicious and was so easy to make, so let me share this Blackstone Griddle Naan recipe for you all to enjoy too!

Blackstone Griddle NAAN RECIPE

Blackstone Griddle Naan Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups warm water

1 TBS sugar

2 tsp active dry yeast

1 tsp salt

3 cups flour

1 TBS grape seed oil

Directions

Combine warn water, sugar and yeast in a bowl and let stand for 5 minutes until foamy.  Add salt and flour and mix thoroughly.  Knead dough on a floured area about 20 times and form into a tight ball.  Put dough in  well oiled bowl, cover with a damp towel, place in a warm are and allow 45 minutes to rise.  Turn dough out onto a floured workspace and divide into 8 balls.  Use a rolling pin to flatten to about 1/8 inch thick.  Squirt a little oil on the hot griddle, spread it out with spatula and place dough on the griddle top. Cook approx 2-3 minutes per side or until crispy golden brown on both sides.
