Happy National Donut Day 2023, one of my favorite days of the year. Just the thought of it already has my mouth watering and my waistline expanding. I sure like those tasty treats, they just melt in your mouth, but what I don’t enjoy about them is the calorie content they bring. Well, one way to keep off the calories is to skip eating them and celebrate in other ways. It’s not the best way, I know, but it is still fun! In celebration of the day, I have a fun activity consisting of free coloring pages of some of your favorite pastries, as well as some fun coloring pages that will be sure to be enjoyed by kids of all ages, older kids and younger kids alike, because who doesn’t love celebrating the sugary treat? Donut Coloring Pages 2023
National Donut Day was established in 1938 to honor The Salvation Army’s “Donut Lassies,” who made history by serving thousands of soldiers on the front lines during World War I. Today, The Salvation Army officers, staff, and volunteers help serve people in need in almost every ZIP code in America. Today, in 2023, many of the donut establishments continue to serve the community by offering some amazing deals and even giving away some of the tasty treats.
