This weekend, Labor Day weekend 2023, the annual festival called Burning Man has returned to Neveda and has been all over the news this weekend due to the horrible conditions caused by a downpour. Along with the once-in-a lifetime type of rain that the festival received, which is a good reminder of the effects of climate change, other crazy conspiracies have been floating around, like an outbreak of Ebola. Of course, the internet has come out with these funny memes because, when times are tough, the internet seems to bring out the worst in many. But my philosophy is to always follow up difficult times with a good laugh, and I will even go as far as to say I hope they have some seriously hilarious memes at my own funeral one day.
