Earlier this year, Mitch McConnell had a fall that broke his collar bone, and he suffered a concussion due to the incident. He was cleared to return to work, but after some recent press conferences, in which he froze on camera, there was some questioning about whether or not he was okay to continue to work and if he was just too old or in bad health to continue to work. The freezing on camera, not once but twice, also sparked the internet to do what the internet does: make some funny memes. Of course, the internet has come out with these funny memes because, when times are tough, the internet seems to bring out the worst in many. But my philosophy is to always follow up difficult times with a good laugh, and I will even go as far as to say I hope they have some seriously hilarious memes at my own funeral one day.
