Overall Thoughts

In the spirit of the holiday season, Netflix has released a new film titled Best. Christmas. Ever! The film follows two longtime frenemies, Charlotte (Heather Graham) and Jackie (Brandy Norwood), who are reunited by chance over the holidays.

Charlotte, a down-to-earth mom, is always envious of Jackie’s seemingly perfect life. Every year, Jackie sends out a boastful holiday newsletter that makes Charlotte feel like a failure. However, when a twist of fate lands Charlotte and her family on Jackie’s doorstep just days before Christmas Eve, Charlotte seizes the opportunity to prove that Jackie’s life is not all it’s cracked up to be.

In her attempt to expose Jackie, Charlotte nearly ruins Christmas and the Christmas spirit for both families. However, she eventually realizes that her competitive spirit is getting in the way of her friendship with Jackie. Charlotte and Jackie must learn to forgive each other and appreciate their differences in order to salvage the holiday and bring holiday cheer.

The best thing about Netflix’s Best. Christmas. Ever. is its heartwarming message about the importance of friendship and forgiveness, making this an important Christmas story for the whole family. The cast, including Brandy, Heather Graham, and Jason Biggs, is likable and charismatic. Eah performance brings alikability that makes it easy to connect with and keeps with the well-paced plot.

The film isn’t perfect, as the story is predictable and some of the characters are one-dimensional. However, Netflix’s Best. Christmas. Ever! is a charming and heartwarming film that will put you in the holiday spirit. It’s the perfect movie to watch with your family and friends.
