Ingredients

Cupcakes (use box recipe)

12 silver cupcake wrappers

1 can royal icing (use white or blue frosting)

12 each Milano cookies

12 each Pirouette cookies

4 ounce white chocolate squares

Blue sparkled sprinkles

Directions

Bake cupcakes beforehand and allow them to fully cool. Choose a lighter-colored cake mix to complement the glass slipper effect. Measure the height of the cupcake to gauge the height of the heel. Cut Pirouette cookies to the correct size (the height you measured) and set aside. Melt white chocolate squares on the stovetop or in the microwave. Dip half of the Milano cookie (sides of the cookie only) into melted white chocolate, and then immediately cover with blue sprinkles. Then dip the tip of the pre-cut Pirouette cookie into the melted white chocolate and stick it to the bottom of the dipped Milano cookie to create a heel effect. Place the dipped cookies on a baking sheet and allow them to cool and harden. Once hardened, stick the “un-dipped” side of the Milano cookie into the cupcake. It will now begin to look like a glass slipper, with the Pirouette cookie being the heel of the shoe. Using a piping bag, decorate the top of each cupcake with icing and cover the top of the cupcakes with blue sprinkles.
