Weight Watchers French Toast with Sauteed Pears
An easy and delicious breakfast, try this Weight Watchers French Toast recipe with sauteed pears!
- 1 raw pear
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup skim milk
- 2 slices reduced-calorie bread
- 2 TBS fat-free vanilla Greek yogurt
- non-stick cooking spray
Peel and slice raw pear, sprinkle with about 1/4 tsp of cinnamon over the pear once sliced. Heat over medium heat a large non stick skillet, sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Sauteed the pears in the skillet, until they are nice and tender.Whisk egg, milk and the remaining cinnamon in a bowl. Dip bread into the mixture and flip in bowl, making sure miture is soaked into both sides of the bread. Heat over medium heat a large non stick skillet, sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. and add the mixture soaked bread to the skillet, flipping the bread once one side is browned and cooked thoroughly. Serve with pears and yogurt on top.
