Easy Instant Pot Applesauce Recipe: Apple Season At Eckert’s Farm


  • 5 large Apples peeled, cored & diced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • squirt of lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup water


  • 1. Place apples into the Instant Pot and sdd sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg and mix well.  Add water and stir again.
  • 2. Close and seal Instant Pot properly. Set to manual, high pressure for 5 minutes. When complete allow to naturally release pressure. Quick release may cause applesauce to splatter all over your kitchen.
  • 3. Use a potato masher to mash cooked apples and stor well.  Store in refrigerator.
