Blackstone Tortellini Recipe
Ingredients
2 lb cheese tortellini or Italian sausage tortellini
2 packages Polska Kielbasa pre-cooked sausage
1 small red onion (diced onion)
2 each red bell peppers
cherry tomatoes
fresh basil
1/2 cup Italian dressing
2 TBS Parmesan cheese (or romano cheese)
Italian seasoning
kosher salt
red pepper sauce or red pepper flakes
Directions
Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat. Once preheated, turn down to medium heat. Cook the tortellini (this could be dry tortellini or cheese-filled tortellini) according to the package directions or until al dente, then drain the water and rinse with cold water. Set aside.
While the tortellini cooks, oil the griddle with Olive oil and add all the chopped, delicious vegetables to start cooking. Add the sliced Polska Kielbasa (or other meats: ground beef, chopped boneless skinless chicken breasts, raw sausage) to the grill. Once the veggies have softened and the Blackstone grilled Kielbasa is browned ( about 1-2 minutes), move them to one end of the griddle and lower heat to a very low heat so it just stays warm. All extra minutes if need be.
Add the cooked tortellini to the grill and drizzle with more oil, then toss until the pasta is coated.
Once the fresh tortellini is tender, begin cooking pasta with the Kielbasa and vegetables by adding them all together and tossing with the Italian dressing. Add fresh basil and other seasoning, remove from grill, and enjoy!
