On Wednesday, November 25th The Good Dinosaur opens in theaters across the nation; just in time for Thanksgiving! Next week I am flying out to LA to attend The Good Dinosaur press junket, where I will walk the red carpet and interview talent from the movie! You can follow my trip November 15th-18th by using the hashtags: #GoodDinoEvent #ABCTVEvent & #LionGuardEvent
“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.
In honor of the movie and Thanksgiving, I wanted to make a delicious treat! Or maybe, I just wanted an excuse to say “Dinosaur Dump”! This cake is super easy to make, moist and delicious. Hope you enjoy it!
Crockpot Chocolate Dump Cake
Ingredients
1 package of Devils Food Cake Mix
1 small package of Jello Chocolate Pudding Mix
1 pint Sour Cream
3/4 cup Oil
1 cup Water
4 Eggs
1 cup Chocolate Chips
Directions
1. Use Crockpot liners or spray with non-stick cooking spray. I prefer the liners due to stickiness even with spray!
2. Dump all ingredients into the crockpot (hence the title “dump” cake) and mix thoroughly.
3. Cook on Low 4-5 hours.
Enjoy!!
