Skinny Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino Recipe

 

I have a Starbucks problem.  With me being a huge coffee lover, you would think my Starbucks problem would involve their coffee.  You would be wrong.  I am IN love with Starbucks Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino’s.  Like, a huge problem!  This problem can not only hurt my pocketbook but also my waistline.  Have you SEEN the amount of calories in these frappuccino’s?  I don’t even want to think about the amount of calories I have consumed from my addiction.  So, skinny version recipe to the rescue!

The recipe includes fresh strawberries and I just so happen to have PLENTY to use.  With it being strawberry season, I recently went strawberry picking with the family.  So, you can expect lots of yummy strawberry recipes coming soon.  Now lets kick it off with this delicious Strawberries & Cream alternative Frappucino!
 
Skinny Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino Recipe
 
Ingredients
1/2 cup Fresh Strawberries
1/2 cup 2% Milk
1 cup Ice
3/4 cup Strawberry Yogurt
Whipped Cream optional
 
Directions
Add ice, strawberries, yogurt and milk to a mixer.  I used my trusty Ninja.  Pulse on and off for about 45-60 seconds or until all ice is crushed completely.  Pour into glass and top with whipped cream!
