Weight Watchers Banana Stuffed French Toast Recipe
I not only need a delicious recipe to stay on the diet track but I need a fast and easy one. I am not huge on breakfast recipes because I do not tend to eat breakfast regularly but I love me a sweet dish! I recently made this Banana Stuffed French Toast, which was a light version since I am on the Weight Watchers program and it turned out amazing!
Ingredients
2 slices raisin bread
1 TBS fat-free cream cheese
1 banana (sliced)
1 large egg
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
2 TBS almond milk
non stick cooking spray
Directions
Spread the cream cheese on one side of both slices of the bread and layer the banana slices on top of the cream cheese spread to make a sandwich of sorts. Whisk egg, vanilla extract and almond milk together and dip both sides of the french toast snadwich into the mixture, soaking the bread well.
Spray a skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Cook both sides of the French Toast around 4-5 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy this delicious breakfast! Serves 1.
