Weight Watchers Apple Compote Recipe

This is a great Weight Watchers Apple Compite recipe because there is no added sugars and I know those fruit points are like nothing! This recipe makes about 6 servings and is around 2 points each.

Ingredients

2 lb apples (peeled & chopped)

3/4 cup water

2 TBS lemon juice

1/4 tsp cinnamon

3 TBS honey

2 TBS maple syrup

Directions

Add apples, water, lemon juice and cinnamon to a saucepan. Cover and cook on medium to low heat for 15-20 minutes are until the apples are tender, stirring so the fruit will not stick to the pan. Remove from heat and add honey and maple syrup, add more of each to taste and depending on how sweet you prefer the compote. Serve warm.
