Weight Watchers Pound Cake Recipe

I’ve hit 25 pounds lost on the Weight Watchers program, and it really doesn’t even feel like a “diet” because I am still eating well. I’ve even been traveling for a couple of weeks and while I was not tracking at the time, I was watching what I eat and learned better behaviors thanks to the program. Most importantly, I’ve been feeling so much better and have been getting creating with some amazing recipes! Sweets has always been my guilty pleasure, I definitely have a sweet tooth and that is why I have been trying out some dessert recipes and love this Pound Cake recipe. Weight Watchers Pound Cake Recipe

Ingredients

3 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp salt

2 cups Truvia

1 cup butter (melted)

1 cup sour cream

6 eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp almond extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix together dry ingredients includinf flour, baking soda, salt and set aside. Mix melted butter, eggs, vanilla & almond extract and truvia and blend well.  Add two cups of the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and blend together well.  At this time, add the sour cream to the mixture.  Continue adding the rest of the dry ingredients to the mixture and mix well.  Spray a nonstick spary on a bundy cake pan, bundy cake pans are the best way to cook this pound cake over the traditional loaf pan.  Cook for around 75 minutes, checking on occassion or until the cake it brown.  Make sure the pound cake is cooked completely through by using a knife or tooth pick, sticking it in the cake and making sure it come out dry.

Makes 20 servings.
