Netflix’s Leo releases on the streaming service across the United States this week, November 21, 2023. The film stars comedian Adam Sandler (voice actor of titular lizard Leo), Bill Burr (voice of Squirtle), Cecily Strong (voice of Ms. Malkin), Sunny Sandler (voice of Summer), Jason Alexander (voice of Jayda’s dad), Sadie Sandler (voice of Jayda), Rob Schneider (voice of the principal), Nick Swardson (voice of Cinnabun), Allison Strong (voice of Mrs. Salinas), Heidi Gardner (voice of Eli’s mom), Ethan Smigel (voice of Anthony), Roey Smigel (voice of Eli and Benji), Jo Koy (voice of Coach Komura) and Reese Lores (voice of Mia). A turtle’s butt is shown in a jackstrap with a tattoo; a teacher calls another a closet drunk; a character refers to a jelly bean, suggesting their penis; and there is mention of a character smoking in the restroom. There is plenty of potty humor, and a young character asks a young woman where babies come from.
