- 1 TBS butter
- 1 TBS brown sugar
- 1/2 cup pre-made coffee
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 piece Werther's Original Candy
- whipped cream optional
Instructions
- On a medium to low flame, heat the brown sugar and butter in a sauce pan, stirring occasionally, making sure not to burn the sugar. Once the butter is melted and it starts bubbling, add the milk and coffee, stirring well until the sugar dissolves and everything is mixed well. Then add in the milk and coffee, mixing well with the butter/sugar. Add in the Werther's Original candy and bring it to a boil. Continue stirring until the candy has melted. Once melted, turn off the flame and allow the coffee to cool for a minute before adding the Butterbeer coffee to a mug. Add whipped cream as a topping and enjoy!
