Looking back, I wish I could take back everything I did.
Working for LuLaRoe absolutely destroyed my life.
They wanted them to like, drink the Koolaide, they would say.
I started realizing there was a lot of control. Controlling what we wear, how we look, what we weighed.
I came to this realization, I was like ‘Oh My God, I’m in a cult.’
I’ve watched my wife shatter glass ceilings.
The empowering women came from me being married to a powerful wife.
It was very toxic.
Women can be strong but there is a time to let him be your hero.
Everyday you get to wake up and choose how you are going to thrive and how you are going to fulfill your own dreams.
If she told me to go jump off of a cliff, I probably would’ve.
These women were telling everyone else that they were doing it right and everyone else was doing it wrong.
All you have to do as a woman was get on your knees for 5 minutes a day and please your husband, and then your husband will let you buy whatever you want.
He sat there for about an hour, while I cried, as they were telling me basically everything wrong in our relationship. And I knew they just wanted him to quit his job, so that we would have all of our eggs in one basket.
She looked me dead in the eye and she said, well maybe it is time you found yourself a new husband.
They didn’t join, they were lured in.
We actually needed technical help, we needed real business training, instead of this feel good book that they wanted you to read this week, that they hired someone to come talk to you about.

I told everyone, if I can do it then anyone can do it.
I really want to be with LuLaRoe for the rest of my life.
That’s when it shifted from not only purchasing material goods but changing the way that you looked.
I was added into a text group named the Tijuana Skinnies.
That was really the turning point on, what have I done to myself? What have I done to my family? These people are using me for money and they will walk on anyone to make that money happen.
The few people who do make a lot of money are relentless, they are working day and night.
The reason that was always given is, it works if you work it and I guess you weren’t working hard enough.
Some people took that box of clothing and turned it into a million dollars and some people took that box of clothing and put it in the closet.
I did get clothing that smelled absolutely horrible. Like it got infiltrated by rats or something.
The material was changing. The buttery soft legging that I fell in love with was getting thinner.
Our daily quota was like 100 prints.
Little did I know this was going to end up looking like a penis.
They all just look like artistic vaginas.
They didn’t care that I was struggling.
Welcome to life, your experience may vary. We have equal opportunity, we didn’t promise equal outcome.
We didn’t have a huge problem with wet leggings. We didn’t have a huge problem with damaged leggings and products. We had a huge social media problem. And we had a lot of noise over very little actual issue.
If you complain or you criticize, then you are just taking on this mentality of the victim loser.
I felt so betrayed by this company.
Eventually for most of the consultants, they came out losing.
I kept expressing these concerns, that’s what got me suspended.
There are rumors you were fired for having inappropriate relations with consultants.
What do people do these days when they are looking for help? I posted it on Facebook. Does anyone know a class action attorney?
The reason we are not a pyramid scheme is because in a pyramid scheme you have to keep signing people up to make money.
I went into a really deep spiral of depression and anxiety from being in with this company.
All of a sudden they all just ran off.
I stopped keeping track of how many lawsuits were filed against LuLaRoe.
It’s just a hot mess.
After I left, everyone was told not to talk to me, to have no association with me or they will be terminated.
Our goal was to gather as many people as possible.
The recognition of achievement is not meant to mislead, it is meant to inspire.
I don’t know if I necessarily did anything wrong.
I’ve never seen LuLaRoe do something that other companies haven’t done.
At the end, my mission was to get a message across. Just because you are a large company, doesn’t mean you can take advantage of people.
I know the experience that I had can not be replicated.
Now I realize that everyone has a story.
For any current LuLaRoe retailers, I hope they get out before it’s too late.
I don’t want anyone to go through what I went through.
That’s the reason I got into LuLaRoe in the first place, it was to create a community.
I’m trying to find the rainbow after the storm.
This is what happens when you stop caring about ethics and morals and are completely consumed by greed.
The thing that most people don’t realize is, no multi-level marketing company has actually ever stopped.
You get to take charge. You get to be the boss. It’s easy.
History will remember LuLaRoe as an unethical, immoral family. Because History is written by the victors.
